Beth Adams, MD Dermatology is contracted with most major insurance providers, including Medicare, Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, Humana, and United Healthcare.  However, please verify with your insurance company to ensure that we are covered by your specific plan.

As a courtesy, we submit all medical charges through your insurance.  It is your (the patient’s) responsibility to check if Beth Adams, MD Dermatology is in network with your specific plan, and to determine if your insurance requires a referral.  After your insurance processes your claim, any remaining unpaid balance if your financial responsibility.  You may be responsible for any of the follow charges as determined by your insurance policy:

Copayment = a fixed dollar amount you pay for a specific covered health service

Deductible = the amount you pay out-of-pocket before your insurance policy begins to pay

Coinsurance = the percentage of costs you pay for covered services after meeting your deductible, until your out-of-pocket maximum is reached

Out-of-Network costs = expenses for medical services from providers who aren’t contracted with your insurance, which may result in higher costs and higher deductibles
