About Beth Adams, MD
Dr. Beth Adams has over 16 years of experience as a dermatologist in private practice in the Chicago-land area. She is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Adams is a member of the professional staff of Endeavor Health of NorthShore.
Dr. Adams completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Chicago where she majored in biological sciences and graduated with honors in 2000. During her time in college she was an active member of the University Theater, including the Off-Off Campus improvisational comedy troupe. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in 2005. Dr. Adams completed her internship at Evanston Northwestern Healthcare in 2006, where she was awarded "Intern of the Year." In 2009 she completed her dermatology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Multicultural dermatology was an integral part of Dr. Adams' medical training, and she is an expert in treating skin of color.
As a medical dermatologist, Dr. Adams' focus is providing care to achieve and maintain healthy skin. She treats patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. Dr. Adams has a special interest in skin cancer prevention, detection, and treatment. She provides very thorough full body skin cancer screenings with the use of a dermatoscope, a specialized handheld instrument that helps detect early skin cancers.

About Our Office
Beth Adams, MD Dermatology was founded in 2025 as a privately-owned solo practice. It is based on the "micropractice" model of medicine, where bureaucracy is minimized in order to provide higher quality care to patients.
Medical skin conditions treated by Dr. Adams include: skin cancers, precancerous skin growths, atypical moles, acne, eczema, hair loss, psoriasis, and warts. All ages of patients are welcome, including pediatric patients. Dr. Adams also performs biopsies and minor surgical procedures in the office.

The Edgebrook neighborhood of Chicago is nestled at the northwest boundary of the city. It has an almost surburban feel with tree-lined streets, forest preserves, and golf courses. The vibrant business district near the intersection of Devon Avenue & Central Avenue includes many restaurants and shops to explore.
Edgebrook is easily accessible from multiple highways and public transportation. There is ample street parking along Devon Avenue with a rate of $2.50 per hour paid to Park Chicago via pay box or mobile app. Many side streets are zoned for residents to make sure to check signage. There is a stretch of free 1 hour parking spots on Minnehaha Avenue just south of Devon, about 1 block east of Dr. Adams' office.
